if you've been here before, you're probably noticing a couple of changes. i'm trying out a new look at the moment. i'll probably keep tweaking it. i really loved the old template, but i heard from a few people that they were trying to post comments and i was never receiving them. so i think it was a bit glitchy and i'd way rather hear from you than just have a pretty site. so apologies if you were trying to comment - try again and hopefully everything works now.

and...maybe you noticed my new box? over there on the right? i thought it might be nice for everyone to see just how well this project is going. i'm just over the halfway mark now, and thanks to everyone's generosity, i've raised $600 so far for almost home! i am super excited to see just how much more i can raise for them in the next three months. thank you so much again to everyone who's contributed in any way to this project. it makes me so happy.
